Controller; the central hub of the access control system. The fundamental backbone of an Access Control System with complete control over the entire system.

Used to identify persons and control access to and exit from restricted locations. Not visible to the majority of employees in a facility. Gives you an efficient, highly secure way to control access to your premises. Supports 2 or 4 direct access control readers. The amount of access control panels installed depends on the number of doors each forum can control

All locks are hooked to the access control panel. With an access control credential, the controller checks the input against database to gain access to a specific door at a specific time.

Readers wired directly to the control panel, and checks the Wiegand ID against the server’s whitelist. With correct credentials, the controller will open or unlock the door. Door controllers read the Wiegand protocol, door controllers can communicate with any reader
